Welcome to the September newsletter from Physical Therapy Advantage.

News from our clinic:

We are happy to welcome our new Patient Care Coordinator, Tracy Schalhamer!

Tracy is excited to be at Physical Therapy Advantage and looks forward to meeting all of our clients!  After being a School Social Worker for the past 28 years, she was wanting to interact with people in a different setting and is very happy to have this opportunity.  Her home life includes her husband and three children (16, 19 and 22).  She loves to walk for exercise, read mysteries, have game night with the family and travel.

Following are our upcoming workshops: 

  • Thursday, October 3 - Low Back and Sciatica workshop at our clinic from 6:30pm-7:30pm.  Are you suffering from low back pain or do you have pain that radiates down one of your legs?  This is the workshop for you.  Please call to register for the FREE workshop by calling 630-892-8003.
  • Saturday, October 12 - FREE Community Health Fair - at the Cornerstone Community Baptist Church at 307 Banbury Rd. in North Aurora.  Walk in to have  chek your blood pressure, heart rate, body mass index, posture, balance and walking analysis.  Call 630-892-8003 with questions.
  • Thursday, October 24 - Shoulder workshop at our clinic from 10:00 -11:00am.  Are you having shoulder pain?  Do your shoulders hurt when reaching overhead?  Do you have pain in your shoulders at night?  Come to this FREE workshop to learn the four common causes of shoulder pain and what successful treatment looks like.
