Functional Dry Needling

Functional Dry Needling is a technique that we use in our clinic to help with relieving your pain and improving your function.  It is a technique that uses monofilament needles to release trigger points within your muscle.  A trigger point is a part of your muscle that has become contracted like a knot.  The trigger point can cause compression of the muscles, nerves and joints leading to pain and restriction of your tissue.  Releasing these trigger points with dry needling, helps to reset your muscles, improve mobility and decrease your pain.  It is used in conjunction with other treatment techniques and exercises.  We have found it beneficial for our patient's and can speed up their rehab process.   In order to be able to perform function dry needling, specialized classes and certification is required.  We have certified physical therapists at our clinic to help you.  Call our clinic to get more information.  

Theralast MD3

Physical Therapy Advantage is now carrying Theralast MD3 an organic topical analgesic that helps relieve minor aches and pains for up to 8-12 hours.  Many of our clients have tried the gel and have found it very helpful and better than other topical treatments they have tried.   You can purchase at the front desk for $32. Image result for Theralast MD3
