Weekly Cup of Joe - Episode #61 – PraxisFit Gym

Read the transcript for this video:

Good morning and welcome to your Weekly Cup of Joe. My name is Joe King. I'm the owner of Physical Therapy Advantage in North Aurora.  I'm here this week and we're doing some special Cup of Joes. Typically we talk about health concerns or other questions and give some tips and pointers and everything else like that, but we're doing some cross-promotional marketing for some referral partners of ours that we've known throughout the community. Throughout the Fox Valley region over the years that we've been in business with and so, we just wanted to give a huge shout-out to some of those. Today, we're talking about PraxisFit Gym in Batavia, just west of Randall Road on Main Street. Stephany Esmay opened up the gym back in 2015, just want to talk a little bit about them. There's information below as well.

First and foremost Steph has created a gym thats community-based. It's small group training, fitness classes and they truly believe there's  power in working out together. So it's not your typical gym by any means. They don't focus on a certain body type or a certain image or a certain way of lifting or anything like that. It's based on independent goals and a whole bunch of people having their independent goals, and you're working out as a community. So it's really unique, with a huge variety. There are fitness classes whether it be cardio, strength, mobility other types of fitness classes, whatever you're looking for, there is something for you at PraxisFit. One of the neat little kind of nuances and niches that they have is nutritional services, if you're looking for some nutritional help, and they have one-on-one nutritional training there too. Very, very cool! They are results-oriented. Their trainers and instructors track results just to make sure that you and your fellow partners there in crime are moving towards your goals.

I'm going to read this so I don't get thrown off and get this wrong here. Their goal is to help you reach your goals and create a support network around you to help you succeed. So really, truly, it's all about you and your goals and making sure that you're progressing towards those goals and they're being held accountable and you're being held accountable. So that's really cool to see it as well. Finally, they are a Batavia original., They are an independently owned gym with a whole bunch of passionate instructors, members that are all working towards similar goals and wanting really, truly to better the health of the community that they live in. They are not corporate. Steph opened it up like I said, back in 2015, as an independent gym and wanted to create something unique and something different. And I think she truly has over the course of these past seven, almost eight years now. So kudos to Steph and her staff TJ, and La Shawn is one of her main instructors there as well.

So if you want to learn some more about them, their information is below about their website and their social media stuff. Check them out! They offer some free classes or some trial classes if you want to sometimes. So give them a call, see what they have to offer, and hopefully, you'll find something that you may like there. Thank you again, and we look forward to doing a few more of these cross-promotional marketing segments here in the next few weeks to, like I said, give shout-outs to our referral partners. And we hope to see you next for your Weekly Cup of Joe! Bye.
