Good morning and welcome to your Weekly Cup of Joe. My name is Joe King. I'm the owner of Physical Therapy Advantage in North Aurora, and I wanted to wish you a happy holiday, and a Merry Christmas, and welcome to the Season of Gratitude. I started a few weeks ago as we were celebrating my favorite holiday thanksgiving, and now it's been moving forward and it's going to be a total of about six weeks of just really emphasizing gratitude. I've been doing gratitude journals for a while now, and I've got so many things to be grateful for this year and it seems like every year. And what I wanted to do was to challenge you to start a gratitude journal for the upcoming year. So after when 2023 hits us, I want you to think about that. Basically you just grab a basic journal. Sometimes they actually say gratitude, it's just a blank journal. And you're going to write down things in it.
So you can do daily entries. One thing a day that you're grateful for, or you want to do it three times a week, and you can just write two to three entries or two to three things you're grateful for, three times a week. But just being in that mindset of being grateful and thinking of things and that gratitude, and it really changes your perspective on everything, so I really challenge you to do it. I think you'll enjoy that emphasis and what it turns out to be and how your perspective on life and perspective on daily things, it really turns out to be. And that you'll end up seeing things maybe a little bit more positive and you'll have a lot better reactions to things than maybe you did in the past.
So if you have any questions about that, and I'd like to talk about that further, I'd be more than happy to do so. Obviously, if you have any health questions, PT questions and anything like that, you're definitely more than welcome to give the clinic a call and one of our staff , myself , will give you a call back and talk to you, (630) 892-8003 So wishing you the best this holiday season. Have a happy holiday. Enjoy your family and friends. Merry Christmas, and we'll see you next week for your Weekly Cup of Joe. Bye.
