Good morning and welcome to your Weekly Cup Of Joe. My name is Joe King. I'm the owner of Physical Therapy Advantage in North Aurora, here bringing your weekly vlog series of Your Weekly Cup Of Joe. Hope you've been finding these to be helpful for you guys. This week, we're going to be talking about high-energy activities. You might ask yourself, what's a high-energy activity? These are basically things that you can do or that you do during the day that makes you feel better. They are things such as exercising, listening to music, talking to that one person, one friend of yours that always gets you in the right frame of mind, being out in nature, whatever it is there are tools in your toolbox that help you get in that right state of mind. So if you are feeling down, feeling negative, feeling a little bit off, whatever it may be, or that you need to be a little bit more focused, a little more clear on things, you want to make sure that you can do these activities.
I can go to this tool in the tool belt and maybe read for five minutes. Maybe it's exercising for an hour before I go do it, whatever it is you need to do, just get out in nature as we are today; it's really beautiful outside. Whatever it may be, get that clear mind, that focused attention and can allow you to be the best person that you want to be and get out of that negative zone and be a little more positive. You want to write those activities down, put those in your toolbox, make sure you know that they're there and take advantage of those during those times during the day, during the week, whenever it may be. It's something that people don't do enough of and everything else, and we want to try to stay out of those negative areas and negative timeframes as much as you possibly can. They're going to happen absolutely. Bad things that definitely happen or unexpected things definitely happen that might take us down a little bit but be able to recognize it and then find these high-level, high-energy activities and utilize them and get yourself back on track.
So hope this helps you. If you have any questions about those or about anything, physical therapy related, health-related wellness related, please don't ever hesitate to call, and ask. You can contact us at the clinic at (630)-892-8003 and we'd be more than happy to talk to you, then set up a phone conversation, whatever we need to do to answer your questions and help you out. We want to be a community resource for those that we serve here in the Tri-Cities Fox valley region. So have an amazing week enjoy the beautiful weather outside, and we look forward to seeing you next week for your Weekly Cup of Joe. Goodbye.
