Read the transcription for this video:
Good morning and welcome to your Weekly Cup of Joe. My name is Joe King. I'm the owner of Physical Therapy Advantage in North Aurora. We've had a little bit of a hiatus with these, Cup of Joe vlogs we've been doing, but we're glad to be back. Happy spring, happy earth day! And this one is about gratitude; showing some appreciation. Our Clinic, Physical Therapy Advantage, just had its 15th birthday anniversary on April 2nd and we are so happy and proud to be still providing great physical therapy care to the communities of the Fox River Valley. So I just want to take a few minutes here to say thank you to a number of people. First and foremost is, my former business partners, former employers—Gary and Mary Rachford from Naperville FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers and in Naperville would not have been able to get started without their help, so thank you so much to them.
Also wanted to say a big thanks to my Clinical Director, Julie Crane. She's been with me, longest standing employee I've got, I think almost 14 years now. And she is not only an amazing clinician, she is a fantastic leader. So happy and grateful to have her on my staff. Also, the communities of the Fox River Valley North Aurora, where we're located, West Aurora, the greater Aurora area, but west Aurora specifically, the city of Batavia where I live Geneva, St. Charles, Sugar Grove, Elburn all the way down to Oswego and Montgomery as well. So thank you very much for supporting us for this last 15 years. There's a group of small business owners, from the Batavia Chamber of Commerce that took me in a number of years ago.
And let me meet with them on a monthly basis and basically gave me my Masters, my MBA in Business. I learned so much from them early on. All our family and friends that are out in the region here as well. And then, from Batavia and from the surrounding areas. There's also a group of business owners, PT business owners that I met about five years ago or so from around the United States. And we would meet on a quarterly basis and I really got to hone in my business skills there and learn how to run an effective and efficient, PT practice. Lastly, and most of all, I want to really thank my family. My kids, Shannon, Brady, and Carlin, and especially my wife Laura, if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have probably made this venture, made this leap of faith and jumped into the private practice world and open up our own clinic. So thank you so much for your support Laura. And like I said, this is just a gratitude video for just to say thanks to everybody for supporting us.
If you have any questions about physical therapy or have questions about health, then want to ask something, we want to be a resource for the community. So just give us a call at (630) 892-8003. Hopefully we can answer your question or get you directed to the best possible place for you. So have a fantastic day, enjoy the nicer weather that's starting to come around and we look forward to seeing you next week for your Weekly Cup of Joe. Bye.
