Joe has been working in athletic medicine and outpatient physical therapy settings, treating collegiate and high school athletes, orthopedic patients and pediatric clients for 12 years. He has a special interest in pediatric sports medicine and functional foot orthotics. Joe has a unique ability to treat both the marathon runner and premature infants with special needs. He is an instructor at Midwestern University in the Physical Therapy Program.

Mary has 20 years of clinical experience. She has concentrated her practice in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation with a special interest in pregnancy-related injuries and volleyball injuries. Mary participated in volleyball as a collegiate athlete and as a high school and grade school coach. She is a certified specialist in Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM), a highly effective treatment for chronic tendonitis.

Kadie O’Connor joined Physical Therapy Advantage as Office Manager in March 2008. She was an “at-home Mom” with four children and now is the proud Grandma of eleven. Kadie has held positions as a Referral Marketing Trainer, Office Manager, Alliance coordinator for an electrical representative agency, Craft show Promoter, and currently also publishes a referral directory website. Kadie also works in Marketing for Physical Therapy Advantage.

Julie Crane has recently joined Physical Therapy Advantage in March 2009. She has been a physical therapist for 15 years. She received her B.S. at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a DPT with the Ola Grimsby Institute. She has experience in a variety of out-patient orthopaedic clinics treating children and adults. She resides in North Aurora with her husband and three children.

Jenna has been employed with Physical Therapy Advantage as an aide since October of 2007. She graduated from North Central College in June of 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. Earlier this year she acquired her personal training certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Currently she is attending school at the Soma Institute of Massage Therapy and plans on becoming a licensed clinical massage therapist by the summer.

Lauren began working at Physical Therapy Advantage as an aide in March of 2009, and has previous experience as an aide and as a personal trainer. She is a senior at North Central College, located in downtown Naperville, majoring in Psychology with an emphasis in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and will be graduating later this year. Lauren will be starting Physical Therapy Assistant school this fall at Elgin Community College with plans of going onto Physical Therapy school.
